A Big thank you On behalf of myself (Hugh), Sharon and all the staff of Mara Media/The Skipper, I would like to thank all the exhibitors, sponsors and visitors for making our second Skipper Expo International exhibition in Aberdeen such a success. The exhibition received over 2,500 visitors and business was brisk over the two days; we already have a very high re-booking rate from exhibitors and numerous queries from companies wishing to exhibit next year. 2012 Testimonials G Smyth Boats G Smyth Boats had a great show at Aberdeen, We put a lot of effort into getting a boat to the show to allow fishermen the chance to see our product first hand. Mullion Survival Technology I would like to say a big thank you to you Sharon, Hugh and all the team for the excellent organisation, an excellent exhibition and last but not least an excellent reception bash!! I really congratulate you on the refreshing personal touch that you bring to your exhibitions and the customer care that you give. Believe me it is refreshing and you stand head and shoulders above all the other larger organisations in your approach. The direct benefit we gained from the exhibition was excellent in terms of networking with co-exhibitors, making new contacts, gaining new business and taking orders. We will definitely be returning next year and I already asked Hugh on the last day if we could reserve the same stand position already! Rappe Ecosse Good show, put on by a great team at Mara Media, who at a time when the industry is really pressed, listened to the industry and gave us what we wanted. We have just received an order, which came directly as a result of an enquiry on the stand at 2012 show in Aberdeen. So it was well worth our while attending. See you in 2013 for sure! Thistle Marine Great show much busier than expected and much better layout this year. Mackinnons Solicitors The show was worthwhile for Mackinnons to attend. As the Scottish industry’s main lawyer we consider that it is essential for us to be there. It affords us an opportunity to meet with our clients in a more relaxed and informal manner than is normally possible. We are also pleased to have received reports from attendees that the industry were pleased with the manner in which we continue to support them through ventures such as attending the show. Aberdeen is an ideal location for us, and allows more of our team to attend the show. We also believe that Aberdeen is a far more appropriate venue for a fishing show what with the majority of the Scottish fleet being based in the North East. We look forward to working with Mara Media at future events. Marine Design International This was our first time attending the Aberdeen Expo, feeling we missed out following good reports from 2011. The opportunity for exposure of the MDI Napier brand in the North East was excellent and the business done here was the icing on top of the big enjoyable exhibition cake. Parkol Marine I’m just wanted to congratulate you on what a good show it was. It was worthwhile for Parkol to be there and very enjoyable to meet old friends and make new acquaintances. Aberdeenshire Council The AECC arena was a much better venue than last year -kept everyone together and provided more space for boats and large exhibits. Also an excellent atmosphere. Thought the Scottish Seafood Association stand which provided food samples was a real asset to the show. And the reception at the Douglas Hotel was again superb.

Congratulations to Mara Media and their successful Scottish Skipper Expo event. It was a great event and a fantastic exhibitors evening that will take a lot of beating.
